2008 I was one of the selected artists to create specifically commissioned works for an exhibition to celebrate Gainsborough House: a golden celebration. I created a series of unique, zinc and steel etchings with Chine collé. Learning to cut the plates, creating a unique prints before welding the plates into a sculpture, a practice I have continued to develop as it is a great eye-opener when showing people possibilities in print, sculpture and art
In 2008 I created recycled awards for the Sunday Times, best green companies, partly created out of metal components from the printing, presses decommissioned after 22 years of printing, the Sunday Times
2007 I was artist in residence in Tattingstone primary school for three weeks working with the children teaching them gas welding

1991 I was lucky to be discovered by John & Jill Hutchings, who ran the Curwen & New Academy Gallery, Fitzrovia, London, after gaining my degree in 1991. Not only did they support, encourage, guide me, exhibit and sell my work for nearly 30 years, in 1998 they put me forward, via Stanley Jones for a grant to join a European print workshop in Tavira, Portugal, run by the amazing Barto dos Santos. Barto, who was also a tutor at the Slade printmaking school, was an inspiring teacher and I leaned Chine collé
1991 first class degree with honours in Sculpture at The Metropolitan University of Manchester. Whilst there I spent three months, initially painting in Spain, but meeting sculptors for the first time and changed disciplines to Sculpture. I became fascinated with metal, bronze casting and welding
